| 内容 | 寄贈者の弟・金澤昭二さん(当時17歳)は、1945年(昭和20年)8月1日に召集され、それから間もない8月6日、二部隊で被爆。両親は既に亡くなっており、祖父の常太郎さん(当時82歳)は高齢で、自宅のあった豊田郡小谷村から広島に行くことは出来なかった。近所の人たち3人が昭二さんを捜しに広島に入市したが、ついにその行方は分からなかった。これらの遺品は、被爆当日だったのか、翌日だったのか、昭二さんと同じニ部隊に所属していた同郷の「山岡さん」という人が、自身も瀕死の重傷を負いながらも必死に昭二さんの自宅まで届けてくれたもの。山岡さんも翌日亡くなり、詳しいことは分からない。寄贈者の常子さんは、今日までこれらの遺品を大切にしてきた。 |

| 展示説明文 | 上着､財布､紙幣の一部 寄贈/金澤常子[カナザワ ツネコ] 爆心地から860m 基町[モトマチ] 金澤昭二[ショウジ]さん(当時17歳)は､1945 (昭和20) 年8月1日に基町[モトマチ]の部隊に召集され､6日に､召集先で被爆しました｡両親は既に亡く､高齢の祖父と姉･常子さんが捜しに行くことがかなわないまま､昭二さんと同じ部隊に所属していた同郷の同僚により､これらの遺品が届けられました｡自身もひん死の重傷を負っていたその同僚も､翌日亡くなりました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Coat, wallet, piece of a yen note Donated by Tsuneko Kanazawa 860m from the hypocenter Moto-machi Shoji Kanazawa (then, 17) was called up for military service with the Moto-machi unit on August 1, 1945 and experienced the atomic bombing on the 6th with his unit. His parents were both already dead, and his elderly grandfather and older sister, Tsuneko, were still unable to go looking for him when these belongings were received from someone in the same unit as Shoji who was also from the same hometown. That person was also seriously injured and on the verge of death. He would die the next day. |
