| 展示説明文（英語） | This military uniform belonged to the donor's husband, Masumi Takeshita (then, 26). He always kept it with great care. Masumi was being cared for at the Saijo Sanatorium for Disabled Veterans in Saijo-cho (now, Higashi-hiroshima City) at the time the A-bomb was dropped. It was from there that he saw the mushroom cloud rise above Hiroshima City. |
