| 内容 | 塚本静江さん(当時23歳)は､東白島町の自宅から出汐町の広島陸軍被服支廠に出勤途中､紙屋町交差点で被爆した｡父の利夫さん(当時51歳)は静江さんを捜し回り､7日にようやく井口村にあった陸軍運輸部船舶司令部の部隊の事務所に自力で逃げていることをつきとめた｡静江さんは全身に大火傷を負い､体が変形し､声を聞くまで本人とは分からないほどの悲惨な姿だった｡静江さんはかろうじて意識があり､利夫さんが来てくれたことを大変喜んだ｡しかし家族の懸命の看病の甲斐もなく､治療も満足に受けられないまま､10日に亡くなった｡静江さんはいつも早い時間に出勤していたのに､たまたまあの日遅くてもよいとの指示を受け8時頃に家を出たので､爆心地近くで被爆してしまった｡利夫さんは火葬にした骨を､母と兄弟たちが待つ自宅に持ち帰った｡ |

| 展示説明文 | 塚本静江さん(当時23歳)の遺品 母･塚本ハナヨさん寄贈 ようやく見つけた姉･静江は､全身に大やけどを負い､声を聞くまで本人とはわからない有様でした｡黒い灰は､皮ふの中にまで入り込んでいました｡父が､「静江､きたぞ！」と声をかけると､かろうじて意識のあった姉は､「よう来てくれた」と泣いたそうです｡弟は､満足に治療も受けられない姉のため､食べたいという桃を必死で探し､食べさせたそうです｡父と弟の必死の看病の甲斐もなく､姉は亡くなりました｡ 姉の遺骨と対面した私たち家族は､事情を聞き､「骨だけでも帰ってこれたのだ」と泣きました｡ ＜ご家族のお話より＞ 8月6日､塚本静江さんは､広島陸軍被服支廠に通勤途中､紙屋町で被爆した｡7日になって､父の利夫さん(当時51歳)と弟の昭三さん(当時14歳)が､郊外まで逃げていた静江さんを発見した｡10日に静江さんは亡くなり､利夫さんは火葬した骨を､母と弟妹たちが待つ県北の自宅に持ち帰った｡ これらの遺品は､当日静江さんが身に着けていたもの｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Belongings of Shizue Tsukamoto (23 years old) Donated by Hanayo Tsukamoto, Shizue’s mother On August 6, Shizue Tsukamoto was exposed to the bombing in Kamiya-cho, on her way to work at the Hiroshima Army Clothing Depot. On the 7th, her father Toshio (then 51) and younger brother Shoso (then 14) discovered Shizue, who had escape to the city outskirts. Shizue died on the 10th. Toshio cremated her body and brought the remaining bones and ashes to their home in the north of the prefecture, where her mother and younger siblings were waiting. These belongings were what Shizue was wearing that day. [Story by Shizue’s sibling] My father and younger brother finally found my older sister Shizue. She had suffered such severe burns all over her body that they couldn’t even tell it was her until they heard her voice. The black ash had gotten even inside her skin. When my father said to her, “Shizue, we’re here!” my sister, who was barely conscious, responded, “I'm glad you came,” and cried. As Shizue, who was unable to receive sufficient treatment, wanted to eat a peach, my younger brother searched desperately, and was able to give her a peach. But my sister died, despite the best care my father and brother could give her. They cremated Shizue and brought her remains back to our home. Listening to what happened to her, we cried saying, “We should think it’s lucky that she made it back home even as bones and ashes.” |
