| 展示説明文 | 箸立て 寄贈／佐瀬清子(サセ キヨコ)氏 被爆時､県外の実家に帰省していた佐瀬清子(サセ キヨコ)さん(当時22歳)は､広島に戻り､住居の焼跡で､地中に逆さまに埋まっていたこの箸立てを見つけ､持ち帰りました｡婚約者の男性との生活で､使用していたものでした｡清子さんは､その男性の死亡届を出し､戦後自身が亡くなるまでこれを大切に保管していました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Chopstick stand Donor: Kiyoko Sase Ms. Kiyoko Sase (22 years old at the time) was at her parents’ home outside the prefecture when the A-bomb was dropped. She returned to Hiroshima and found this chopstick stand buried upside down among the burned ruins of her home, and brought it back. She was using it daily at home where she lived with her fiancé. She reported the death of her fiancé, and treasured the stand until she passed away after the war. |
