| 展示説明文（英語） | Within a radius of approximately 2 km from the hypocenter, the city was reduced to ash and rubble. In burned-out sites, things were melted or covered with lava-like material by the heat of extraordinarily intense fires. These items were found in a house in Nishi-hiratsuka-cho, 1,200 meters from the hypocenter, when the house was dismantled in 2008. |
