内容	国民学校2年生だった三宅加代子さん(当時7歳)は、自宅近くで被爆した。自宅へ帰ると、自宅で被爆した祖母のチセさん(当時60歳)は頭部を負傷していた。加代子さんは、チセさんや妹の栄子さん(当時5歳)らとともに、地区の避難先に決められていた牛田国民学校へ避難した。母親の政枝さん(当時36歳)は、弥生町の友人宅で被爆。倒壊した建物の下敷きになったがなんとか抜け出すことが出来た。負傷し血だらけになり、着衣もボロボロになっていたが、約1週間後、一家は牛田国民学校で再会することが出来た。自宅焼け跡から掘り出したこの茶碗は、戦後も大切に使用し保管していた。

展示説明文（英語）	Kayoko Miyake (then, 7) was exposed near her house, which was knocked down by the blast. In the house, her grandmother Chise (then, 60) received a wound to the head. Soon their house burned down. Kayoko, Chise, Kayoko's younger sister, and Chise's older sister all fled to Ushita Elementary School. The girls' mother, Masae, who had been exposed and injured away from the house, managed to get to the school about a week later. The family was tearfully reunited. The family dug this bowl from the ruins of their house and continued to use and treasure it long after the war.
