| 内容 | 猿猴橋で秋信理髪店を営んでいた秋信仙太郎さん(当時64歳)は、お店の2階(自宅部分)で被爆した。ガラスが刺さり大けがを負った仙太郎さんは、友人宅にいて無事だった妻のヤスさん(当時63歳)や、お店の1階で被爆し建物の下敷きになったが軽傷だった娘の重子さんたちにリヤカーに乗せられ、尾長や二葉山方面に避難したが、亡くなった。この双眼鏡は、お店の2階の窓際にいつもおいていたもので、仙太郎さんは花見の時は、この双眼鏡で比治山の桜を見ていたりしたという。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Binoculars Donated by Takashi Akinobu Approx. 1,900m from the hypocenter Enko Bridge Mr. Sentaro Akinobu (then, 64) who operated a barber shop near Enko Bridge was exposed to the A-bombing when he was on the second floor of his house, the residence above his barber shop. He suffered severe injuries with glass shards impaled in his body. Several hours later, a fire broke out at his collapsed home. While the fire was approaching, his wife Yasu, who was safe at her friend’s house, saved Sentaro and carried him on a hand cart together with other people toward Onaga and Futabayama Hill, but he died. This pair of binoculars was almost always placed by a window on the second floor. Sentaro used the item to view cherry blossoms on Hijiyama Hill. |
