| 展示説明文 | 当時､米の配給所となっていた竹屋米店で被爆したものです｡竹屋米店では､原爆投下により屋根が浮き､ガラス窓が飛び散りました｡この時計は､壁に掛けてあったもので､時間がそのまま止まっていました｡この資料は､己斐小学校の生徒たちが､学校付近を調査し､原爆に関する資料を集めたときに収集したもので､このたび当館に寄贈されました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | This wall clock was exposed to the bomb at Takeya Rice Store, which had served as a distribution center. The store sustained significant damage, with its roof displaced and windowpanes shattered. This clock was hanging on the wall but it stopped ticking with its hands indicating the time of the A-bombing. It was collected by students at Koi Elementary School during a school project that solicited A-bomb related materials in the community. It was recently donated to the Peace Memorial Museum. |
