| 内容 | 日本赤十字社の看護婦だった渡邊君江さん（当時20歳）は、日赤第675救護班として召集。1945年7月から呉海軍病院に派遣され、大竹海兵団に勤務していた。 原爆投下後は、次々とやってくる負傷者に、食事も忘れ、涙を流して治療にあたった。 それから12年過ぎた1957年（昭和32年）頃から、君江さんは体調を崩し、紅斑や熱、倦怠感が続くようになった。何度か病院を変え、手術や入退院を繰り返したが、原因ははっきりせず、翌1958年（昭和33年）、2人の子どもを遺して34歳で亡くなった。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Donated by HASEDA Sachiko WATANABE Kimie (then, 20), who was a nurse of the Japanese Red Cross Society, was drafted for relief activities of squad No. 675, and she was working with the Otake Marine Corps when she experienced the atomic bombing. After the atomic bombing, Kimie engaged in giving first-aid treatment to the injured people who were brought to the hospital one after another with tears in her eyes, even forgetting to have meals. Around 12 years after the atomic bombing, Kimie had become ill. Even after several changes of hospitals with repeated surgeries and hospitalization, the cause of her illness remained unknown, and she passed away in the following year leaving two children behind. |
