| 内容 | 大手町四丁目にあった有文社にあった金庫。被爆により会社は全焼、社長の久保原章さんやその家族、従業員などが亡くなった。陸軍軍人として埼玉県にいたため無事だった長男の久保原弘さんが、7日後に入市し、焼け跡で遺骨を確認した。翌1946年(昭和21年)に会社を復興した弘さんは、1999年(平成11年)に亡くなるまで、この金庫を大切にしていた。 |

| 展示説明文（英語） | Safe Donated by Hirofumi Nakano, Yubunsha Co., Ltd. 400m from the hypocenter Ote-machi 4-chome (now, Ote-machi 2-chome) This safe was at a printing company, Yubunsha Co., Ltd. The building was burned to the ground in the bombing and Akira Kubohara, the president, his family, and all of his employees died. His oldest son, Hiroshi, who was safe because he had been living in another prefecture, entered Hiroshima a week after the atomic bombing and was able to confirm the remains found in the burned out ruins. Hiroshi rebuilt the company and continued to use this safe until he died in 1999. |
