| 内容 | 末永ミサヲさん(当時39歳)は、国民義勇隊として土橋付近で建物疎開作業中に被爆。現在も行方不明のまま。自宅に置いてあったこのたんすは、引き出しの一部が焦げている。戦後も、息子の昌記さんが母親の形見として大切にしていた。 |

| 展示説明文 | タンス 末永喜久枝さんの義母､ミサヲさんは､国民義勇隊員として小網町付近の建物疎開作業中に被爆｡遺骨も見つからず､行方不明のままとなりました｡大芝町(爆心地から約2700m)の自宅にあったこのたんすは､引き出しの一部が焦げていますが､戦後も喜久枝さんの夫昌記さんが､母親の形見として大切にしていました｡ 寄贈者のコメントより このたんすは､夫が母親の形見として大切にし､何度かの引越しの際も手放さずにいたものです｡平成17年5月に夫が亡くなり､今後自分も高齢となれば､資料の保管が難しくなると考え寄贈を決意しました｡ |
| 展示説明文（英語） | Chest of drawers Kikue Suenaga's mother-in-law Misao, was exposed while demolishing buildings near Koami-cho as a member of the Volunteer Citizen Corps. Her remains were never found. After the war, Kikue's husband Masaki treasured this chest, burned on a drawer, as a remembrance of her. (from the donor’s comments) My husband treasured this chest and brought it along every time we moved. He died in May 2005. I am getting older myself and decided to donate it because it will be difficult for me to store it. |
