Situation |
At the time of the bombing, I was a third-year student at the Junior High School of the Hiroshima School for the Deaf. I couldn't hear the air-raid alarm siren but my mother wrote in my palm, "Air-raid alarm siren". On the morning of August 6, I saw some persons walking in front of my house start to run off. Just as I thought, "That's odd," I felt an intense bomb blast. The primary school in front of my house was destroyed, the dead students lying on top of each other in a heap.
