Situation |
On the morning of the 6th, I had arrived in Hiroshima Station on a train that was later than usual. We had gotten to the Atago crossing when there a bright flash of light and an explosion that injured me. I fled to the East Parade Ground and then returned to my workplace in the afternoon. That night, Hiroshima burned, completely enveloped in flame. Two days later, my father and I walked into the city to search for my junior-high school student nephew but we never found him. |
