Situation On the morning of the 6th, she was gathering for roll call (at the site where she was mobilized as a student) in Railway Electoral District near Hiroshima Station when the atomic bomb was dropped. When she regained consciousness she had fallen covering her eyes and ears. She crossed Kohei Bridge and returned home in the evening. She witnessed the state of the town as she fled. Although involved in speaking activities, three years ago she became unable to say anything, and this testimony is the first to break her silence.
