| Description | Akihiro Takahashi (then 14) was a second-year student at Municipal Junior High School. He was exposed to the bomb in the school yard during morning assembly. He suffered burns on the back of his head, his back, and both arms and legs to the extent that the skin peeled and was dangling loose. A glass fragment penetrated the cuticle of the fingernail on the index finger of his right hand. His fingernail has grown in abnormally ever since. |
