| Description | This bag was exposed to the A-bomb at the home of the Noma family. The eldest son, Yasunori (then 3) was eating breakfast with his mother, Kotomi (then 43) when the bomb exploded. Kotomi and Yasunori escaped from their damaged house and, the next day at a first-aid station outside the city, they were reunited with husband and father Kojiro (then 45), who was exposed to the bomb at work. On September 1, Kotomi fell ill and barely managed to recover. |
