Description Kyusaku Oda (then 46) was working for the construction division of the Hiroshima Railway Bureau. He was exposed to the bomb in front of the main gate of the Hiroshima Railway Hospital. The back of his uniform was burned away. His air-raid hood, which was tied to his shoulder, was also burned.
