Description Yoshiko Oshita, the donor's older sister was at home with her eldest daughter at the time of the bombing. After freeing herself from her collapsed house, Yoshiko, who was badly burned, fled with her daughter, reaching her parent's home in Numata-cho late at night. Her mother Sasayo, who had been worried about her daughter and granddaughter, was overjoyed to see them alive. This pot was found buried in the ground by her younger brother, Toshihiko Hikiji (then, 16) when he was digging around their house sometime in October.
