Description | Seikichi Yoshida, father of donor Yoshiro Yoshida, was exposed at his mobilization site at the Hiroshima shipyard in Eba-machi. His wife Shizu (Yoshiro’s mother) was exposed near her home. When Yoshiro was demobilized and returned from China in October 1945, he was reunited with his parents. Both had lost their hair and were completely bald, but the three wept tears of joy that they had survived to meet each other again. |
