Description | Toshiro Hiromoto was exposed at home. Glass fragments thrown by the blast pierced his body and spattered his blood all over the hanging scroll in the living room alcove. His third daughter, Mineko, was exposed as a mobilized student working on building demolition and burned over her entire body. She made it home on her own strength but, despite her family's ministrations, died on the 7th. Toshiro cremated his daughter. His fifth daughter, Yoshiko, was exposed on her way to the hospital. Her remains were never found. |
