開館当初、原爆による植物の影響を伝える展示があり、植物の葉の標本が展示されました。被爆後、植物の種類によって再生力が異なり、クスノキやアオギリは再生力が強いことが報告されています。

When the museum opened, there was an exhibit that illustrated the effects of the atomic bomb on plants. The exhibit included leaf specimens from plants. After the atomic bombing, regenerative ability varied by species. It has been reported that camphor trees and Chinese parasol trees exhibited strong regenerative abilities.
